Gregory from Mandan, who makes a living as a Landlord, sold The Clunker Junker his 1998 Chrysler Cirrus L Xi recently. All the wheels and tires were mounted and inflated and his car could start but he couldn't drive it. He did have the title and it had approximately 190,000 miles on the odometer when The Clunker Junker purchased the vehicle. There was moderate body damage on the car such as peeling paint, cracks, rust, etc. The Clunker Junker hauled his vehicle away at no cost around Sep 08 and gave his $287 payment right there at the time of pickup.
"The car runs perfectly. It was a theft recovery and the ignition is torn apart, and it needs new belts. It's still a solid car. I'm looking to for a cash offer. "
Here's what Gregory had to say about his 1998 Chrysler Cirrus and about us:
All the tires and rims were on the car and fully inflated, nothing was deflated or removed .
My vehicle had somewhere around 190,000 miles on the odometer when we sold the car. A lot them were from some amazing road trips we took!
There’s a tiny chip in the rear windshield, other than that the glass and mirrors are fine.
Nothing is removed, the interior is in good condition, actually! I took really good care of the vehicle.
I was hoping to sell it for about $425, but we now we're told that offers were based on previous auction results and includes free removal. The Clunker Junker payed me $287 cash for my 1998 Chrysler Cirrus. Yeah it was lower than I was hoping for, but The Clunker Junker removed it at no cost so that was a relief.
"The vehicle has been involved in a wreck. The driver side was damaged. The damage is to the driver side door, the fender, and the light. The mileage is 223K. "
"The mileage stands at about 170,000. The car's steering went out due to it rusting out from the frame. Also, the frame of the vehicle is very rusted and the trunk is about to snap off. I'm not sure but it could be a 2001 vehicle or a 2000 for the year, I always forget. There is a spare tire on the back passenger side. The car is broke down in a parking lot. It's time to junk it. "
"Rebuilt engine less than a year ago and there are 181,000 miles on the car now. Timing belt has slipped out of time. Can't afford to put more cash into the car. New water pump, stater, radiator, and thermostat. I have all the receipts for work done on the car. "
"The back window was broken out. The car has no gas and therefore has not been started in several (six+) months. The battery is dead now, too. The car did start and run when it was parked a year ago. The battery & starter were replaced a couple months before parking it. It has been in a garage since the window was broken and does not have water damage. The paint is peeling from being left out before that time."
"The truck has approximately 175,000 miles on it and is a 4x4. My only reason for junking is that I have lost my license and will not be able to drive for the foreseeable future. In the last eighteen months or so it has had a new windshield, rear slider, water pump, power steering pump, fuel pump, both front hub wheel bearing assemblies, calipers all around, rear brake lines, emergency brake, and battery replaced. Also has TOYO open country tires with about 65% tread left on them. Truck is not perfect but have invested over $7,000 cash into it in the last few years."
"JUST SPENT ALMOST $1000 IN NEW PARTS. VEHICLE RUNS AND IS IN DECENT CONDITION. A/C BLOWS COLD. TITLE NOT IN HAND, IT'S IN MY NIECE'S NAME AND NEEDS DUPLICATE FROM FLORIDA AND SHE WILL SIGN WHATEVER FORMS NECESSARY TO DO THAT. RELOCATING OUT OF AREA AND NEED TO JUNK IT FAST."
