Here’s how we helped Jonathan from Jackson, NJ sell his used 1999 Buick LeSabre

Jackson resident Jonathan, a Coil finisher, submitted his 1999 Buick Le Sabre Limited to The Clunker Junker recently. There was some moderate exterior damage on the vehicle such as rust, dings, peeling paint, etc and it had approximately 175,000 miles on the odometer when The Clunker Junker purchased the vehicle. His vehicle was driveable and started with no big transmission problems and all the tires and wheels were on the vehicle and inflated. He did not have a title. We gave a quote for $150 on the car and towed it away free of charge on Sep 06.

We asked Jonathan a few questions about his car and his experience with The Clunker Junker

Here's what Jonathan had to say about his 1999 Buick LeSabre and about us:

Do you have the pink slip for your 1999 Buick LeSabre? If yes, was your title clean or a rebuilt branded title?

Nope, I didn't have the certificate of title but it was not a problem. The Clunker Junker was still able to purchase it and helped me get and sign all the paperwork needed to finish the sale.

Were any of the wheels or tires on your your 1999 Buick LeSabre removed?

The tires were very worn out, but they were all there and fully inflated. The car surely could have used a new set of tires, though!

Was the inside of the car complete and free of damage?

Nothing is taken out, the inside is in good condition, actually! I took really good care of it.

Was your 1999 Buick LeSabre safely driveable?

My vehicle was safe to drive anywhere. It didn't have any big mechanical issues that prevented the car from moving.

How much cash did The Clunker Junker offer you for your 1999 Buick LeSabre?

I was quoted $150 for my vehicle. This was more money than the three other junkers we got offers from. Selling my junk vehicle to The Clunker Junker was so much easier than attempting to sell it privately . Just not needing to deal with flakes and tire kickers was more than worth it.

"The Subaru has a blown head gasket. I've leased a vehicle so I just need to have this junk one removed. I do not have the title in hand, but I do have the registration. I can get the title but it may take five to ten days to get it. Do you need it at the time you take the car or can I give you the registration and send you the title?"

"Has 124,000 miles and an electrical issue, so the car will not start. I replaced the battery and checked starter, it works. The car is losing signal from ignition switch to starter. Not sure how to fix so I'd rather junk it. "

"The engine, transmission run beautifully, the car is great. I just replaced the radiator, thermostat, and water pump. It overheated on the freeway and I believe it needs the intake manifold gasket replaced. "
