At the Clunker Junker, we understand that, and we recognize that one of the main reasons why our customers choose to sell us their cars is because they need money and quickly. You might not be able to wait two weeks to receive cash or a check, which is why we aim to pick up cars in less than three business days in most cases and pay when we collect the vehicle.

Your junk car just doesn’t fit in with the beautiful scenery of places like the Garden of the Gods, Pike’s peak, or Mesa Verde. It’s time to get that rotting hunk of metal out of your driveway and free up some valuable space in your garage or driveway. If you need cash for junk cars in Colorado, The Clunker Junker has you covered with the best offers and the fastest, friendliest, and most professional service available.

We Buy Junk Cars in Colorado Fast and Free

We’re not here to nickel and dime you. We want you to be out there enjoying the Rocky Mountains, rather than driving up and down the highway looking for the best junkyard to sell your car to. Eric Mitz

Eric's Expert Take

Eric is our founder and CEO and has nearly 15 years of experience buying and selling used and junk cars in the state of Colorado. He is also a data nerd with a finger on the pulse of the cash for cars industry and salvage vehicle values.

Hey there! Eric Mitz from The Clunker Junker here. I’ve been examining our latest car offers in Colorado, and I wanted to share some interesting insights. Across the board, we’ve been typically offering approximately $675 for vehicles in this region. For more compact cars, such as a Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic, the average financial estimate tends to be a little lower, around $594. Contrastingly, pick-up trucks, whether it’s a Ford F-150 or a Chevy Silverado, attract higher offers averaging around $879. If you’re looking at SUVs or crossovers, such as a Subaru Crosstrek or a Hyundai Santa Fe, you’re likely to receive an offer hovering in the vicinity of $781.

Here at The Clunker Junker, our recent records reflect that we’ve transacted roughly about 13,482 vehicles and disbursed over nine hefty millions! In Colorado, the Jeep Grand Cherokee, a robust and versatile SUV, seems to be the crowd favorite. That said, the Grand Cherokee often faces typical issues such as faulty electricals or transmission hitches. And costs for these repairs can mount quickly. Therefore, it might introduce economical rationale to consider selling your Grand Cherokee to us, rather than spending on frequent hefty repair bills.

Going by my extensive experience in the “cash for cars” industry, it’s quite evident that car prices in Colorado have been consistently steady, adjusting only marginally by 2.1% each month. This seems to echo the market rhythm we’d been observing around this time last year. I project the automobile market to persist in this relatively stable state for a foreseeable period. Therefore, if you were deliberating about selling your car, it’s perhaps an ideal time to ride the wave of market stability. Of course, it’s my job to keep an eye on the pulse of the market and I’ll be sure to keep you updated with any significant shifts or trends!

How to sign your Colorado car title

We have put together a simple guide and example for how to sign your Colorado title when you are selling your vehicle. If there are multiple owners listed on the title, they must all sign the title unless the names are separated with "OR".

  1. Be sure you are using the "Assignment by owner(s)" section on the top of the back side of the title. Do not sign or print in the dealer reassignment sections!
  2. Sign your name on the back of the title where indicated by "Seller(s) Signature" (see image).
Always sign in pen on the seller line, and never sign in the dealer section.
  3. Hand print your name on the back of the title, where it says "Seller's hand printed name(s)". Always include any and all middle names or initials that are used in the owner section.

  2. Obtain a Secure and Verifiable Identification for vehicles purchased after July 1st, 2006.

How to get rid of an abandoned vehicle in Colorado

Getting rid of an abandoned vehicle in Colorado can be a difficult process. Unfortunately, you cannot just sell any junk car that ends up on your property if you do not own it. 3. If no owner or lienholder steps forward to express interest in the vehicle, you may apply for a Colorado state title.
